We have proudly hosted Weddings since the hotel opened in 1862 and we remain today a unique and prestigious setting for Wedding Celebrations.

This traditional Victorian hotel offers a high quality service in a relaxed period setting.  Whatever you have in mind we can provide that special atmosphere to ensure that your dreams of the perfect day come true.

The hotel has an extensive range of facilities that will suite all your requirements whether you are planning a Wedding Breakfast for 10 or 350 guests.

-The elegantly refurbished Ballroom with its ornate feature ceiling and own dance floor.

-The Assembly Room, a beautifully restored Victorian Banqueting suite with private bar and dance floor.

-The Restaurant together with the Great Central, Waverley and York rooms are ideal for a more intimate Wedding Breakfast.

We are delighted that we are now licensed for the performance of Civil Weddings.  Full details of our facilities and packages are detailed further in this brochure.

All our prices shown in the brochure are valid from 1st January 2007 until 31st December 2007 inclusive.  We will be pleased to offer a 10% discount if you celebrate your Wedding on any Friday, Sunday or Bank Holiday in 2007.
